Jessica Paolillo’s studies and professional interests have always been centered around the cultural world. She earned a degree in Cultural Heritage (art history curriculum) and received several scholarships, including one at the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid under Professor Salvatore Settis. Later, she organized exhibitions for young Italian artists and promoted small producers and artisans through e-commerce and workshops.
Motherhood led her to explore new fields, connecting her interests in art, language, and cultural identity. She is passionate about bilingualism, interculturality, and the promotion of reading and culture. Jessica actively promotes multilingualism, collaborating with organizations like PEaCH for Bilingual Children (In 2024 Bilingual Family) and Il Giardino Multilingue for the project “Interview with the Multilingualism Expert,” conducted in Italian
She pursued further specialization, obtaining a DELE examiner certification, a diploma in Intercultural Education, Multilingualism, and Cultural Diversity from the University of Granada, and completing training in language education for children and adolescents. Jessica also holds certifications from the University of Parma (Diventare un Esperto dell’Apprendimento Linguistico, CEdAL- Elicom) and Ca’ Foscari University (Comlint and Masterclass DEAL).
In 2023, she completed a postgraduate specialization course in Children’s and Young Adult Literature, LETIN,(0-18 years) at the University of Padua. She works on independent reading promotion projects, has collaborated with public libraries, and she is a certified volunteer for “Nati Per Leggere” program. Additionally, she provides bibliographic orientation and literary analysis.
