Bilingual Family relies entirely on donations to support our mission of helping bilingual and multilingual children thrive. In accordance with Scottish charity regulations, including the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, we ensure that all funds are used responsibly and transparently to benefit the communities we serve.

Donations allow us to create high-quality guides, videos, blog articles, and music playlists in multiple languages, providing essential resources for parents, teachers, and professionals working with multilingual families. We translate our materials into additional languages to make them accessible to as many people as possible.

Our work is driven by our passionate, dedicated volunteers who generously contribute their time and expertise. However, as we expand, we need funding for crucial developments, including our upcoming Bilingual Family Specialist Training Programme. This initiative requires investment in software, design, training platforms, and expert consultation to ensure we deliver the highest standard of research-based advice.

Every contribution helps us promote language equality and multilingual education worldwide while ensuring compliance with Scottish charity laws and best practices.

Our administration costs are minimal and relate to running the website and arranging necessary insurance. We have no premises and we all work as volunteers.
