Leila Imppola, Dr. Phil. from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland has studied applied linguistics (Dr. Phil.), Finnish and Finnish as a second language, pedagogy, and cultural history (M.A.). Leila has many years of teaching experience as a Finnish language teacher in various institutions, such as the Finnish Language School of Düsseldorf, adult education centers, and private language schools.
She has given numerous presentations at various events, including conferences, on multilingualism and multiculturalism, mainly in Finland and German-speaking countries and is involved in integration work in his city of residence. Leila also works as a volunteer for the Allianz Bildung & Lernen e.V. organization. Additionally, she is a board member of the (Finnish) Association of Mother Tongue Teachers (Oman äidinkielen opettajat ry).
