Bettina has been working in Community Management and international HR for about 15 years, experiencing different sectors and countries across Europe. Following her passion for languages, she first studied Translation and Interpreting, and still works as a freelance translator for official documents on the side. In the past, she taught German to expats, both at home as well as abroad, and loves to be part of international communities to foster intercultural understanding and international relations.

Being a mom of two bilingual girls, she first-hand observes and experiences the advantages as well as the challenges of bilingualism, and decided to further promote internationalism and interculturality among kids and families by joining Bilingual Family as part of the HR & Ops Team.
